Gratuity

Manage and track gratuity and tips for both integrated and non-integrated environments. Simplify gratuity payouts and reduce cash counting and manual data tracking. GiftLogic’s gratuity features can be used in a variety of retail operations.

Features Include:

• Enable/Disable both cash and credit card tips
• Automatically assign tips to cashier logged in
• Designate tips for a specific employee at time of sale
• Enable tips for unspecified cashier/group account
• Change the tipped employee after transaction is complete
• Modify cash/credit card tip amount after transaction is complete
• Deduct a pre-set processing fee from credit card tip reporting
• Create summary or detailed reports of tips by cashier
• Generate reports for all employees

Integrated Credit Card Tips (Vantiv Only):

• Enter tip amounts before or after the sale
• Print tip line on receipt and perform adjustment before batch/z-out
• Prompt customer to enter tip before swipe/chip insert on consumer facing pin-pad
• Handle split payments/tips for a single transaction (tip a different employee with each payment method)

Note: Credit Card tips for non-integrated processing can be entered within GiftLogic for reporting purposes. However, GiftLogic will not communicate with a non-integrated device to enforce or enter a tip amount.
