GiftLogic Inventory Style Matrix eases data entry requirements associated with adding clothing items to inventory.

GiftLogic recently added a new Inventory Style Matrix feature to its point of Sale software. Designed with retailers who sell clothing, shoes, candles or other items in different sizes and colors, this new feature dramatically improves the data entry process. The spokesperson explained how the Inventory Style Matrix tool works. Merchants initially set up "inventory styles" and "size groups" such as "Football Jerseys" and "Small, Medium, Large, X-Large, and XX-Large." Next, when a merchant adds a new set of football jerseys to inventory, he or she selects the appropriate inventory style and size group and then enters the associated product details into the matrix window which is pre-populated with the appropriate sizes.
"The Inventory Style Matrix is user-friendly and fast," the spokesperson explained. "It takes just a few moments for a merchant to enter product details for dozens of items in a group. They can also quickly duplicate products to account for other product variations such as color or even sports teams. Since seasons and styles change all the time, our Inventory Style Matrix is a welcome addition that saves merchants a great deal of time."
In addition to streamlining data entry and ensuring consistency between related products, GiftLogic's Inventory Style Matrix also integrates with the optional eCommerce feature. "Inventory Style Matrix makes it easy for GiftLogic eCommerce users to simultaneously enter products into GiftLogic's inventory and feature them on their eCommerce sites. It's literally a matter of ticking off a checkbox in the product entry form," the spokesperson said.
